Alvicom TestManager

We found that existing testing tools could not offer the right combination of features to the Banking and Finance sector to assist with crucial performance and functionality testing - so we wrote our own, TestManager.

We talked to bank IT staff and decided to implement the following features:

Minimum scattering of data: Test scenarios (i.e. multiple transactions over many IRL banking days with COB/EoD recognition) are all in one place.
Log history also in one location to avoid confusion.
Optimized test environment stability: up to 10,000 test scenarios (transactions/data exchange etc.) can be simulated simultaneously with truly reliable stability.
Dynamic test data generation: TestManager can deal with incredible amounts of data/data calculation simultaneously. Data generation is equally reliable.
Regression testing support.
The Team-Work principle: optimized communication between Banking specialists (who design the test) and IT support (who run it) is an integral part of the test set-up.

The tool is implemented fully in Java and integrated with Eclipse platforms which provide us with open architecture, an open platform environment and the full power of the Java language.

TestManager is an ideal tool for testing multi-transaction/multi-data environments. It's users include banks, insurance companies, governmental, telcom, health sector and transportation management institutions.
